Senior Walk

After graduating eighth grade, our students move on to one of the many local high school options. Each year in May, we invite the graduating seniors to return to St. James for a walk down memory lane.

Current students line the hallways and cheer on the graduates with signs and noise makers. Popular stops are the 8th grade mural in the tunnel as well as photo ops with beloved teachers. This year’s seniors also requested an opportunity to pull the bell in the church bell tower.

This year, two students from the SJLS class of 2021 returned and made the walk. Perhaps the favorite stop was gathering together as a school on the front steps of the church where our graduates shared their advice for High School.

Congratulations Zach and Jake!
