Early January Tournaments
The Varsity girls hosted their annual basketball tournament this past weekend. Originally scheduled for December, we were excited to be able to host 5 other Lutheran schools from Indiana and Ohio.
The Crusaders ended the tournament 2-1 with wins over St. John, Indianapolis and Trinity, Crown Point.
Sydney M. and Cassie S. both placed in the top 10 overall scorers and Sydney was named to the All Star Team.
The JV Boys also were in action at Trinity Lutheran in Indianapolis. After falling short against Calvary on Friday night, the team lost several players to COVID protocols and ended 0-2 for the weekend.
Next weekend, the JV Girls will travel to New Palestine for their annual tournament.
