What is a Christmon?

Our 5th and 6th graders took a closer look at the beautiful Chrismon tree in our sanctuary.

They learned how each Chrismon ornament points us to Christ and His promises. After identifying the symbols and reading their meanings, students created their own paper snowflake Chrismons—each one a reflection of what they learned.

These student-made Chrismons are now decorating the trees in the Concordia Cafeteria, sharing the message of Christ with all who pass by. Be sure to take a look and enjoy this meaningful work of faith and creativity!
